Canyonlands National Park

Located in Moab, Utah, Canyonlands National Park is a wonder unto itself.  There are at least 3 different perspectives available.  There is the Northern Entrance, the Eastern Needles Entrance, and the Southern Entrance north of Monticello.  Ironically, one can view each from all the directions.  The farthest distance across is about 12 miles, yet one must drive for 3 to 5 hours to reach them.  While Arches National Park is just across the valley from this vantage point, Canyonlands has more allure.
