NAS Glynco

My last training station on the East Coast was Naval Air Station Glynco, Georgia where I received my wings before reporting to the West Coast.

I drove down from Philadelphia New Years Eve 1967 to spend the month of January in my final training.  Linda joined me at the end of the month.  We stayed with the Lamar’s in their tiny cottage they were renting while Bob was doing similar training.  She and I shared an equally tiny single bed…an loved it.  I moved out of the BOQ…who wouldn’t…
